Two servers, two jobs

Speedster Showdown players live in Discord because the Roblox description cannot hold patch notes, EA arguments, or clip reviews. There are two invites this wiki endorses. Everything else is noise until it is pinned in one of these.

Staff, patch notes, Early Access discussion, like-the-game reminders, and the first place a promo code would be posted if Denzee’s team ever ships one. The slug still says sonicshowdown because the community predates the 26 July 2025 reupload. Member counts move; the invite path is what you memorize.

Player-run hangout used by creators and lab rats. Combo vods, roster opinions, unofficial help. Not a substitute for staff announcements. If community Discord and official Discord disagree on a date, official wins.

Both are covered from the Official Links Hub. Neither is a Trello. For the missing roadmap, use Trello and roadmap plus the Updates Hub.

What the official server is for

Use official Discord when you need a source, not a vibe.

• Patch notes. Roster tweaks, map rotations, copyright-safe audio changes, EA fighters opening or leaving WIP.
• Early Access talk. EA is 299 Robux and unlocks unfinished characters. Official channels are where “this kit is bugged” is supposed to go, not a random group chat.
• Codes, if any. As of September 2026 the Working Codes Hub is empty. If that changes, the announcement will not start on a codes-aggregator blog. It will start here.
• Verification of other links. New YouTube, a future Trello, a replacement Roblox place — staff will post it. Until they do, place 120845704977955 remains the play URL.

Mute meme channels if you only want pings. You do not need every role. Discord roles are not in-game damage; see community rewards.

What the community server is for

The community invite is where people actually lab Knight of the Wind confirms at midnight. That is useful. It is also where fake script pastes and “free EA” DMs spawn, because any large Roblox battlegrounds Discord attracts them.

Stay in public channels. Do not download a .lua a stranger whispers. Do not join a third server because someone in community said “the real Trello moved.” Compare that claim to Trello and roadmap and to official Discord. If official has not posted a board, there is no board.

How fake invites work after a reupload

Sonic Showdown vanished; Speedster Showdown returned. That gap was a gift to phishers. Typical bait:

• Invites that swap one letter (sonicshowd0wn, speedstershowdown-official).
• “Backup SSD” servers created the week of a takedown.
• QR codes on YouTube outros that are not discord.gg/sonicshowdown.
• Nitro giveaway bots that want you to authorize an application named after the game.
• Staff impersonators with a cloned icon DMing “verify or we wipe EA.” Real staff do not wipe your Roblox gamepass in Discord DMs. Passes live on the account that transferred from Sonic Showdown.

Checklist before you click:

1. Does the URL match sonicshowdown or 8Mnh7PJuhp exactly?
2. Did you copy it from this wiki, the Roblox description, or a message in a server you already trust?
3. Does the server ask for a Roblox password, a cookie, or an executor? Leave.
4. Does it promise working codes or a Speedster script? Leave. Those catalogues are empty on this site for a reason (codes, scripts).

If you already joined a fake, leave it, remove the bot, change your Discord password, and check Roblox sessions. Then join the two invites above and ignore DMs from accounts under a week old.

Channel manners that keep you unbanned

Official Discord is a work server for a live PvP game. Begging for codes, posting loadstrings, leaking EA kits the staff asked not to spread, or screaming for a Trello every hour will get you muted. Ask once in the right channel. Link this wiki if you need a longer answer than a staff reply.

Do not paste other people’s combos as “script.” A combo is a combos topic. A script is a ban. Mixing the words is how new players get phished.

When you report a bug, include character, map, and whether you were in a public 25-player server or a private server. PS+ commands (heal, no cooldown, infinite awakening) are private-server tools; they are not bugs when they fire in a PS+ box.

Keep Discord, this wiki, and Roblox in sync

A healthy loop looks like this:

1. Play on the Roblox place.
2. Skim official Discord when you boot the PC.
3. Check Updates if you missed a week.
4. Use this wiki for codes status, script safety, and guides.
5. Use Fandom if you need a roster page this site has not written yet.
6. Use community Discord if you want a human to lab with — not if you want a payload.

That is the entire social stack. There is no secret third “dev Discord” you must buy access to. Anyone selling a slot is selling nothing.

Bookmark discord.gg/sonicshowdown and discord.gg/8Mnh7PJuhp from this page rather than from a video that will be edited next month. Pair them with the Official Links Hub and Trello and roadmap so a dead invite has a parent page to return to. Speedster Showdown’s community survived a takedown once; it does not need a second one caused by a lookalike server harvesting cookies while you wait for a code that is not on the Working Codes Hub.
